A GROUP of superheroes are set to tackle some of the city’s most gruelling challenges to raise £30,000 for a home which cares for children with autism.

As previously reported by The Observer, Callum Davies and James Underwood are taking part in a series of fun runs, half marathons and full marathons in a bid to supply a sensory garden for Green Hill Lodge.

The pair, who dress as Batman and Robin, have now recruited three new members to join them in the Worcester City 10K and Run Bike Run events on Sunday, September 21.

Other fund-raisers include Clara Porteous, dressed as Batwoman, Olly Chanot as The Joker and Caroline Pearson who will be sporting a Catwoman costume.

Callum said: “What started off as a post-run, adrenaline fuelled idea to raise money running as Batman and Robin is turning into something quite unique.

“I’m immensely grateful to Clara, Caroline and Olly for devoting their own time to support the Sponsor Batman and Robin campaign.”
