Police hunt for missing three-year-old

POLICE are hunting for a three-year-old girl from Worcester who has gone missing with her father.

Tanith Powell has not been seen since Saturday morning (May 24) when she was taken from her home in the city by 42-year-old Ewan Powell.

Mr Powell, who is from Benson in Oxfordshire, was last spoken to on Bank Holiday Monday (May 26) but nothing has been heard since.

Mr Powell is white, 5ft 10ins, with short brown hair, and is of medium build. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black jumper and brown shoes.




Tanith is white, 3ft 3ins, of slim build, with brown hair. She was last seen wearing a pink coat with flowers on, a grey long sleeve top, dark-coloured leggings and Spiderman trainers.

Ch Insp Elaine Axe, deputy LPA Commander for South and Vale at Thames Valley Police who are leading the investigation, said: “I am appealing for anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr Powell and his daughter to contact police.


“This is out of character for him and we would like to check that he and his daughter are okay.”

Anyone who has information on or who has seen Mr Powell and Tanith, should call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101 quoting URN 739 26/5.
