A TEENAGER has been charged in connection with a sexual assault which took place in a city centre street.
Abdul Kadir Tekagac, of Wyld’s Lane, was arrested on Monday (April 14) and appeared before Redditch Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday).
The 19-year-old was remanded in custody and will appear before Worcester Crown Court on July 21.
The incident occurred just before 1.55am on Friday (April 11) near the junction of Cherry Tree Walk and Infirmary Walk.
