SPARKS were flying at a school in Worcester as pupils were given an insight into life as an engineer.
A national roadshow organised by Bosch visited Nunnery Wood High School on Wednesday, February 26 in a bid to a make students consider a career in engineering.
The event gave pupils the chance to try out a range of technologies and find out how everyday essentials such as heating systems, car engines and hydraulics work.
Students were also able to have a look inside their school’s new £3million hall which includes classrooms and communal areas.
Sarah Lalor, of Nunnery Wood High School, said: “The roadshow has been an invaluable way of bringing the science behind engineering to life and a great event to show-off our new facilities.
“We hope the students have been inspired by the enthusiasm and passion of the presenters and seen the huge scope of activities offered by technology and engineering companies like Bosch and what a career in this industry can offer.”
