CHILDREN at a city school have been busy delivering boxes of delicious goods to the community after a successful Harvest Festival.
A variety of fruits, vegetables and tins of food were brought in by pupils at Dines Green Primary School to celebrate the special event, which took place on Wednesday (September25).
Staff then helped children fill about 70 boxes which were distributed to elderly members of the community.
The festival also marked the completion of the school’s newly-refurbished hall which was left gutted following a fire that broke out in December last year.
Pupils have been unable to use the hall since the incident as it has had to be fitted with new flooring and given a fresh lick of paint.
