POLICE want to speak to this man after a door was kicked and damaged at Worcester Foregate Street railway station.

Officers from British Transport Police have just released a CCTV image of the suspect following the incident on Saturday, August 17.

PC Carol Dade, investigating officer, said: “A member of rail staff was inside an office on platform two with the door closed when she became aware of a man who she could see through the office window having an argument with someone on his mobile phone.

“The man then kicked the office door three times before sitting down on bench on the platform, while continuing to have an argument on his phone.”

The incident damaged the door latch and the man left the station after being confronted by security staff who told him he would not be able to travel by train.

“I would now like to appeal to anyone who knows the man in this photograph to come forward with information as I believe he will have information which can assist the investigation,” PC Dade added.

Anyone with information should call British Transport Police on Freefone 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016. Alternatively, the independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
