ANIMAL owners across Worcester can get all the help they need with their four-legged friends from The Pet Corner.
The business was started in 2012 and qualified veterinary nurse Claire Ditchburn and her team took over this time last year – May 2nd will be their first anniversary. Claire has worked in practices in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire for 27 years.
There is The Wash Tub on site with groomer Katie Wallbank who can chat to customers about grooming and coat care, offering help and advice for owners on correct grooming techniques and grooming products for certain breeds and coat types.
On Wednesday there will be a special anniversary event to support the business going from strength-to-strength over the past 12 months.
There will be lots of offers, promotions and free goodies on the day, nutrition advisors from Symply Pet Foods (10.30am to 1pm) and from Cotswold RAW (from 2pm to 5pm) for anyone interested in BARF feeding.
A local animal charity will be there to raise funds and awareness of its cause.
The Pet Corner stocks a wide range of natural, grain free, gluten free, low fat pet foods and treats, many suitable for pets with complicated health disorders such as diabetes or pancreatitis or any dietary intolerance.
There is also a meat lovers doggy deli area, the chance to pick ‘n’ mix and some products unique to The Pet Corner.
A healthcare aredaca will enable owners to have their pets weighed and they can be given a body condition score, giving a tailored nutrition plan for the pets individual needs.
Claire said: “Being a vet nurse, having good quality and natural health products are essential, covering digestive health, skin care, arthritic supplements, ear/eye cleansers/treatments, shampoos, flea/worming treatments, dental/oral hygiene, anxiety/travel sick relief, urinary incontinence and much much more.”
Everyone – people or animals – is welcome.
