Hoosiers set to rock Huntingdon Hall

Worcester Editorial 10th Nov, 2015 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

THE HOOSIERS have teamed up with Fred M Promotions to perform new songs and their classics in a stripped back acoustic setting in the wonderful Huntingdon Hall.

The popular band first exploded onto the UK music scene in 2007 when their singles “Goodbye Mr A” and “Worried about Ray” both zoomed into the top five.

Their debut album “The Trick to Life” hit the Number 1 slot in the UK charts before their follow-up release “The Illusion of Safety” also reached the Top 10 and included the hit single “Choices”. Featuring infectious, instantly recognisable songs from all of their albums, this unique acoustic evening is guaranteed to get you all singing aloud in this unusually intimate setting.

After just completing a UK tour to promote their latest album “The Secret Service”, the band are swapping big venues and packed crowds for a small, intimate gig which fans will not want to miss.

So if you enjoy great songs, quirky music and a once in a lifetime chance to hear them live in an acoustic way, call the Huntingdon Hall box office on 01905 611427.

Fred M Promotions is committed to working with young local musicians and bands amd give opportunities to these young bands by supporting major artists and singers.

This gig will feature local band ‘Snapshots’ who are made up of students currently studying for their A-Levels.

The gig takes place on Saturday (November 14) from 7.30pm at Huntingdon Hall.

Call the box office for more information or visit www.thehoosiers.com or www.facebook.com/thehoosiers/ for more on the band.
