Woman arrested following thefts from graves in Worcester

A WOMAN has been arrested in connection with a series of thefts from graveyards at Astwood Cemetery and Worcester Crematorium.

The thefts took place at the beginning of October this year and a number of items have been recovered by West Mercia Police.

A 57-year-old woman from Worcester has been arrested on suspicion of theft, and has been released under investigation.

Anyone who believes they are a victim of theft from this cemetery, is urged to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 581s of November 3 2017.
