A PET insurance company has conducted a survey to find the top ten dogs’ names in the West Midlands.
Many of the names were popular all around the country but the region has more pooches called Rosie and Max than any other area.
Here are the top ten dog names for the West Midlands:
1. Bella
2. Lola
3. Poppy
4. Ruby
5. Alfie,
6. Rosie,
7. Luna,
8. Max
9. Daisy
10. Teddy
The most popular names in the West Midlands are Bella, Lola and Poppy in line with the rest of the UK. The sixth most popular name in the West Midlands – Rosie, fails to appear in the UK’s overall top ten. Buddy, which is the UK’s ninth most popular dog name, is shunned from the top ten list in the West Midlands.
The data was released by Agria Pet Insurance for the Kennel Club’s Eukanuba Discover Dogs event at ExCeL London later this month. It shows a wide variation in the dog names that are popular in different parts of the UK.
