A LEGENDARY rhythm and blues band are heading to Worcester this winter to share their swinging sounds.

Rough, tough and always rocking, the one and only King Pleasure and The Biscuit Boys will be performing their authentic and zany stage show at Huntingdon Hall this Saturday.

Regarded by some as the finest rhythm and blues band ever to come from outside the USA, the band carries a guarantee of great swinging music and top entertainment value, with high-octane jump and jive.

The group have been on the road for three decades, delivering nearly 6,500 performances in 21 countries, as well as making 73 TV appearances, including Blue Peter, The Teletubbies and The Gadget Show.

They have opened shows for BB King, Cab Calloway and His Orchestra and Ray Charles, and have even toured with the legendary Blues Brothers Band.

The band has changed overtime with latest recruit Mighty Matt Foundling, the dynamic pianist, taking the reigns from Crab-Claw Tromans, but the King and Bullmoose have been there from the beginning.

Details may change but the magic formula remains the same.

The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £17.50.

Call the venue’s Box Office on 01905 611427 or visit www.worcesterlive.co.uk for more information.
