WORCESTER Warriors romped to an eight-try 52-19 bonus point victory against London Scottish as Matt Everard’s side returned to winning ways.

Tries from Will Lane, Tim Anstee, Billy Twelvetrees, Jake Garside, Louis Brown, who touched down twice, Livai Natave and Will Reed helped Worcester to a comfortable win at Sixways Stadium.

The result means Worcester sit fourth in the Champ Rugby table, six points behind league leaders Ealing Trailfinders.

Warriors made the perfect start as Lane touched down after just three minutes after Juan Gonzalez beat several defenders down the left wing.

And Worcester crossed again four minutes later when Anstee raced down the wing to dot down after Warriors picked up a loose ball close to the touchline.

The home side scored their third try on the quarter-hour mark when Twelvetrees broke from a driving maul to crash over the line.

London’s miserable start to the game was compounded minutes later with Noah Ferdinand sent to the sin-bin.

And Worcester made the most of the extra man to score their bonus point try with just 27 minutes on the clock.

Garside received a pass and darted between two London defenders before side-stepping past another on his way to the line.

And Brown crossed for his first try of the game four minutes later as he started and finished a move which also involved Tom Seabrook.

However, the visitors scored their first try three minutes before the break when Ferdinand raced down the left wing to score.

With fly-half Tiff Eden converting all five of Worcester’s first-half tries, Warriors took a commanding 28-point lead into the break.

The home side regained control of the game on 55 minutes as replacement prop Natave powered over from close range.

London responded with their second try on the hour mark when Harry Clayton touched down from a driving maul.

However, Worcester crossed again two minutes later as Lloyd Williams fed Reed who finished under the posts.

The visitors crossed for a third try with one minute left to play when Jack Wright emerged from another driving maul with the ball.

However, Warriors had the last laugh as Brown wandered his way past a tired London defence to score his second try of the game with the clock in the red.

Worcester are next in action against Caldy on Saturday, November 8 with kick-off at 2pm at Paton Field.
