ECKINGTON claimed both the cross country and five-a-side football titles at the 2025 Wychavon Parish Games.
Some 95 runners from 16 parishes raced over the Evesham parkrun course in the cross country event sponsored by Schloetter and Co.
Eckington retained the title they won last year with 85 points narrowly ahead of Ashton-under-Hill on 87 points.
Evesham Twyford finished third on 202 points just ahead of Fladbury on 206 points with Broadway fifth, Sedgeberrow sixth and Pebworth seventh.
The other parishes to take part were Crowle, Little Comberton, Hill and Moor, Evesham Bengeworth, Bretforton, Harvington, Inkberrow, Wyre Piddle and Wick.
Eckington’s Ross Cowley won the race.
A total of eight teams then took part in the five-a-side football event sponsored by Hasti Brokers.
Split into two groups, Evesham Bengeworth topped group one ahead of Sedgeberrow, Broadway and Fladbury.
And Bredon come out on top in group two just ahead of Eckington, Hill and Moor and Norton and Lenchwick.
In the final, Eckington beat Evesham Bengeworth 5-4 on penalties while Sedgeberrow beat Bredon to take third place.
Broadway beat Hill and Moor 3-0 on penalties to finish fifth while Fladbury beat debutants Norton and Lenchwick for seventh and eighth place.
