WORCESTER Warriors have appointed Sam Handy as the club’s new head of rugby conditioning.
Handy joins the Warriors from Northampton Saints where he worked in the strength and conditioning team.
He has also worked for Scarlets and Jersey Reds, helping both teams to league title success.
Handy said: “I’m excited to be part of this opportunity and look forward to seeing how far we can grow as a team.
“In this role, I have the chance to make a meaningful impact on our journey by developing the team’s physical capacities.
“The coaching staff and player group assembled are highly promising and capable of achieving great things.”
Warriors head coach, Matt Everard added: “Sam is a winner.
“He has experienced multiple winning environments throughout his career already.
“Winning the URC with Scarlets, the Champ with Jersey and came extremely close in the Champions Cup in a superb Saints set-up.”
