WORCESTERSHIRE CCC all-rounder Ethan Brookes has signed a new three-year deal to stay with the county until at least 2028.

The 24-year-old has established himself in Worcestershire’s side across all formats since joining from Warwickshire in 2023.

And Brookes has made a strong start to the 2025 season which includes a score of 88 in the County Championship against Essex.

Brookes said: “I am so happy to be staying put at Worcestershire. I have made so many memories with the lads already, but I am so excited at the thought of challenging for some silverware with this group.

“With how everything has gone over the last couple of seasons on a personal level, I just want to keep developing and hopefully I can contribute to this squad being successful.

“It feels like home here now and my drive to get better is bigger than ever. Staying at Worcestershire was an easy decision for me.”

Head coach, Alan Richardson added: “Re-signing Ethan is an important step in the process of where our club wants to go moving forward.

“He has been central to the success we have experienced so far this season and it was clear we wanted to secure his services on a long-term basis.

“It was paramount for us to secure his services, as we were aware there would be interest in a player of his quality.

“His personality makes him a key part of the group, in an environment where we are trying to produce young cricketers, he has a very bright future ahead of him.”
