WORCESTER Warriors have continued their recruitment drive for next season with the signings of Livai Natave and Tim Hoyt.

Natave has represented Fiji at international level, making his debut against Scotland, and is a Naval officer.

The 26-year-old plays for Fijian Drua in Super Rugby and brings international pedigree to Worcester’s front row.

Natave said: “New team, same passion.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to join Worcester.

“Different kind of rugby over in the UK and I’m very excited for the challenge and experience.

“Looking forward to build something great with the team and the fans.”

Warriors head coach, Matt Everard added: “Livai is a special talent on the ball with explosive ball carrying and offloading ability.

“Pair that with his set-piece, he is a very exciting person to bring into the team.

“I look forward to working with Livai every day to help him fulfil his potential at Worcester Warriors.

And Leicester Tigers prop Hoyt has also made the move to Sixways.

The 22-year-old made one Premiership appearance for the Tigers and seven more in the Premiership Rugby Cup.

He also played for England in the Under-20 Six Nations.

Hoyt said: “There’s an incredible energy surrounding Worcester Warriors right now.

“It feels like the perfect moment to step in and make a difference.

“I’m looking forward to this new challenge and the opportunity to contribute to this club’s journey was simply too good to miss.”

Everard added: “Tim Hoyt is an extremely talented young tighthead.

“He has a big ceiling and I am hugely excited to see him grow and grow.”
