A RACEHORSE from Worcester-based syndicate Deva Racing has earned an invite to take part in the prestigious Dubai World Cup.
Imperial Emperor claimed a landmark victory in the Group 2 Al Maktoum Classic at Meydan Racecourse earlier this month.
The win landed Imperial Emperor the £220,000 prize money and a spot in the $12million Dubai World Cup.
And The Dubai World Cup takes place on April 5.
The Dubai World Cup, held at Meydan, boasts a total prize fund of $30.5million.
Imperial Emperor will line up in the $12million Group 1 feature race with $7million set aside for the winner.
Deva Racing managing director, Ryan Tongue said: “Imperial Emperor has now earned over £450,000 for his syndicate of 14 owners.
“I bought him for just over £60,000, so we’re all in dreamland. To receive an invitation to one of the world’s most sought-after races is simply incredible.”
