WORCESTERSHIRE Rapids will start the first-ever T20 Women’s County Cup with a trip to Northamptonshire Steelbacks.
The Rapids make the trip to the Steelbacks on Monday, May 5 with the winner of the tie to face either Shropshire or Norfolk in round two.
The tournament will feature 37 teams across three tiers of the new women’s domestic structure in a knockout format.
And the competition will run throughout May with fixtures to take advantage of bank holiday weekends.
The competition will culminate with a three-match Finals Day at the County Ground in Taunton on Monday, May 26.
And the tournament will also crown the first domestic champions of 2025.
The Rapids were awarded Tier 2 status back in July and hope to test themselves against high-quality opposition throughout the competition.
