HAYDN Chance, from Worcester, is looking to extend his Championship lead as the Ligier European Season heads to Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.
Chance hopes to secure another win in his first season driving the Team Virage Ligier JS P4 which he shares with Theo Micouris.
Following a three-month summer break, the second half of the Ligier European Season returns at Spa-Francorchamps this weekend.
Chance said: “I can’t wait for the next round of the Ligier European series at Spa-Francorchamps.
“It’s easily one of the best tracks, if not the best track on the calendar this year. We have had a long break since the last round which has given me plenty of time to prepare.
“The goal for this weekend is clear—score more points and maintain our lead in the championship.”
The weekend starts with first practice at 9am on Friday (August 23) with second practice at 1.15pm.
Qualifying takes place later the same day at 3.35pm and 3.55pm.
Saturday (August 24) sees two races taking place, the first at 9.05am and the second at 12.50pm.
Chance is a professional racing driver rated FIA silver, currently taking on a new challenge in the Ligier European Series.
He previously competed in the 2023 Radical Cup UK Championship and finished fourth overall just missing out on a place in the top-three.
Towards the end of 2023 he competed in the Radical World Finals in Portugal and claimed four wins out of four to become Radical World Champion.
