3D SCANNING, LEGO Mindstorms and many more interactive digital activities will be showcased at The Hive for the return of the Digital Festival Family Night.

In its second year, the festival on Thursday, June 27, introduces children to a mix of fun technology as well as teaching them the basics of programming, 3D equipment and educational gaming.

Starting at 4.30pm, there are a range of free activities and games for families to try their hand at. Children aged seven to 13 can book a place for £3.95 on a 30 minute taster session to learn the basics of LEGO Mindstorms programming and attempt to navigate a LEGO robot around a track.

For younger children there are make and take mini robot craft sessions at 5pm and 6pm and cost £2.50 per child.
