WARRIORS have named three internationals in their side for their penultimate European Challenge Cup Pool Two match against Ospreys at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
England and British and Irish Lions centre Ben Te’o will start for the third week running with Ted Hill, who was capped by England as a replacement against Japan in November, also retaining his place at blindside flanker.
USA hooker Joe Taufete’e will make his second start of the season and his first since the Gallagher Premiership match against Newcastle in mid-September.
Taufete’e was concussed playing in USA’s final Autumn International against Ireland in Dublin in November but has played in Warriors’ last three Premiership matches, including the epic victory over Bath last Saturday, as a replacement.
Taufete’e will take his place in the middle of the front row alongside Ethan Waller and tighthead Simon Kerrod who will make his first start since the Premiership Rugby Cup match at Saracens in November.
Nine of the matchday squad against Bath will start at Ospreys including Ryan Mills who will captain the side from fly-half.
Oxford University tighthead prop Joe Morris is in line to make his Warriors debut as a replacement with hooker Niall Annett set for his first outing since he suffered facial injuries in Pau five weeks ago.
Full-back Nick David, who made his Warriors debut in the Premiership Rugby Cup at Saracens, is also among the replacements.
