WORCESTER City joint boss Lee Hughes has left the cash-strapped Blue and Whites.
The forward has resigned as joint manager and left the club following a seven day request.
City chiefs have said the interested club is two leagues higher than Worcester. The Observer understands that club is thought to be Halesowen Town who picked up Bromsgrove Sporting’s Ahmed Ali earlier today
Hughes rejoined City to become player/joint manager in the summer alongside John Snape, having previously played for City between September 2015 and last February.
John Snape will take sole charge of the side and in a statement the club said: “We would like to wish our best to Lee in what the future may bring for him, and thank him for his efforts at City both as player and joint manager.”
