FURTHER snow is expected this weekend after the Met Office issued an amber weather warning for Worcestershire.
A spell of snow is expected over a central England of the UK in the early hours with the heaviest and most persistent snow then likely during Sunday morning.
Forecasters predict as much as 10cm could fall within the warning area, with 15-20 cm in places.
The wintery conditions are expected to last until at least 6pm tomorrow evening according to the Met Office.
Temperatures will drop to 1°C with northerly winds making it feel even colder. The cold weather is expected to continue into Monday with temperatures struggling to make it above freezing.
Drivers are urged to take care on the roads and pedestrians on pavements and pathways as the ice could lead to the risk of falls.
