Vesty on video - Dragons

WITH Warriors’ Premiership struggles being put on the back-burner until that mouth-watering Boxing Day clash against you know who, we turn our attention to the second round of the European Challenge Cup.

Backs coach Sam Vesty is eager to turn the narrow losses his young side suffered to Enisei-STM and Brive, to back-to-back wins when they host Newport Gwent Dragons at Sixways this Saturday and Rodney Parade the following Friday night.

Vesty has two objectives in the competition 1) To help the club’s youngsters step up and prove themselves as senior players – which they have, and 2) Win as much games as possible.

Sitting bottom of the table with two losing bonus points, his side could turn the Pool C table on its head if they secure successive wins over the Welsh outfit.

But what has Vesty made of his young squad so far in the tournament?

Warriors announced the signing of Samoan lock Chris Vui this week. What will he bring to the team?
