WARRIORS hooker Jaba Bregvadze has finished his summer international duties with Georgia on a high as they completed their first-ever Pacific Islands tour unbeaten.
The 29-year-old, who made 17 appearances for Warriors last season, started all three games for ‘The Lelos’ as they enjoyed scooping two wins and a draw in the Southern Hemisphere.
Georgia, who are ranked 12th in the World Rugby Rankings, opened the tour with a 19-19 stalemate against James Johnston’s Samoa, before beating Tonga 23-20 and Tevita Cavubati’s Fiji 14-3.
Head coach Milton Haig said: “Fiji were a great challenge for us and it took a lot of hard work and self-belief.
“The tour has given us the chance to write history once again for Georgian Rugby.”
