WORCESTER City will be looking to get back to winning ways when they entertain Barrow AFC at Aggborough tonight (Tuesday) in the Skrill Conference North.
The Blue and Whites stumbled to a 1-0 defeat at rivals Leamington on Saturday (April 5) with Barrow claiming a goalless draw away to relegation-threatened Histon.
Tonight’s visitors have been beaten just once in their last 19 league outings, a 1-0 home defeat to Carl Heeley’s men on March 8, when Daniel Nti scored the only goal of a tightly-fought game.
Since that loss, the Bluebirds have drawn all four of their fixtures, with City having won only one of six after that day.
Victory would ensure another huge step towards safety for Heeley, with just five games remaining Worcester find themselves five places and 11 points above the drop zone.
Leigh Bedwell will again look to keep his place between the sticks for the hosts, with Ebby Nelson-Addy and loanee Santiago Aloi both looking to get back into the starting XI after making appearances from the bench in the weekend’s defeat.
