WORCESTER Wolves’ home clash against Glasgow Rocks on Friday (February 14) has been moved to the club’s old home at the University of Worcester as flooding continues to affect Hylton Road.
The University of Worcester and the Wolves made the decision to switch the game to the St Johns Campus after concerns were raised about access to the roads surrounding the team’s new home at the University of Worcester Arena.
Consequently there will be a reduced number of tickets available for Valentines Day clash and spectators are urged to purchase the tickets online at www.worcesterwolves.org as soon as possible.
There is safe and dry access to the University’s St Johns campus and parking is available on site at a cost of £1 for the evening.
Mick Donovan, president of the Worcester Wolves, said: “Worcester Wolves are currently enjoying a superb season and are sitting at the top of the British Basketball League and a return to their old home will be a nostalgic event.
“The Wolves will be aiming for a victory over the Glasgow Rocks that will see them extend their current form and give their Worcester fans a Valentine’s night to remember.”
