City looking to get back to winning ways

Worcester Editorial 28th Jan, 2014 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

WORCESTER City will be looking to bounce back from their weekend defeat to Vauxhall Motors when they host Solihull Moors at Aggborough tonight (Tuesday).

Carl Heeley’s men suffered a 1-0 loss at the hands of the Motormen, after winning their previous three games, but will go into the game in high spirits against a side yet to win this year.

The original fixture between these two sides was scheduled to take place on New Years Day, but due to adverse weather conditions it had to be postponed.

At this point, The Moors were top of the table – following an unbeaten December – but three straight losses and two draws mean Marcus Bignot’s men now find themselves in 7th place.

The Blue and Whites can lift themselves up to 16th with a victory, assuming all other results go their way.
