City looking for back-to-back league wins

Worcester Editorial 17th Jan, 2014 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

WORCESTER City will go in search of back-to-back league wins for the first time this season when they host Colwyn Bay at Aggborough tomorrow (Saturday).

The Skrill Conference North encounter comes on the back of City’s 2-1 success at Histon last weekend, with Daniel Nti bagging a brace in only their second away league victory this campaign.

With five games in 14 days for Carl Heeley’s men, the Blue and Whites manager will be hoping the influence of recent signings Jamie Grimes, Aaron Brown and Kristian Ramsey-Dickinson can propel them to a third home league win.

The Seagulls come into the game high in confidence, having won six of their last eight league games, and have the joint-best away record on the division, matched only by leaders North Ferriby United.

The sides drew 0-0 back in September, and Heeley will be hoping Nti can add to his fine performance last week, with top scorer Ethan Moore also pushing for a starting berth.
