New faces ready for Histon challenge

Worcester Editorial 10th Jan, 2014 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

WORCESTER City will be looking to pick up just their second away league win of the season when they travel to Histon tomorrow (Saturday).

Carl Heeley’s men go into the game on the back of a 6-1 hammering at Bradford Park Avenue, after their proposed midweek game at home to AFC Telford was postponed, due to a waterlogged pitch.

After their heaviest defeat of the season, manager Heeley publicly lambasted his sides ’embarrassing’ performance, and has since freshened things up with three new faces arriving this week.

Striker Kristian Ramsey-Dickson and defenders Aaron Brown and Jamie Grimes are all in line to make their debuts against the Cambridgeshire outfit, who sit ten points ahead of their rivals.

Danny Glover will play no part for Heeley’s side after he left to join fellow Skrill Conference North side Bradford Park Avenue.
