– Well what an emphatic game to end the season. This one really had everything. Anthony Charles was sent off for the hosts after just seven minutes but Tristian Dunkley gave the ten-man hosts the lead after 23 minutes. Mike Lea pulled one back three minutes later and then at the start of the second half three goals in ten minutes – a Jacob Rowe own goal and two from Tom Buckley – put the visitors 4-1 up. Daniel Nti scored a penalty to pull one back before Anoruo made it five. A late Nti strike then made it 5-3 but Brackley’s win at Hednesford Town was all that mattered and relegated Colwyn Bay. Thanks for following today.

FULL TIME: WORCESTER CITY 3-5 COLWYN BAY – COLWYN BAY ARE RELEGATED

90+1min: Sousa takes aim from 25-yards and fires just over the top. Good effort from the youngster.

5 minutes added time.

90min: Symons turns and shoots but it is straight at Sanna.

More on goal: Fabulous cross-field ball from Geddes finds Haynes on the right, his pull back finds Nti on the edge of the box who fires a great effort past Sanna.

84min: GOAL: Worcester City 3-5 Colwyn Bay – Daniel Nti

82min: Bay full value for the win following this second half performance but it looks as though it won’t be enough following Brackley’s late goal.

76min: Brackley have just scored against Hednesford, meaning this emphatic win will mean nothing for the visitors. They will be relegated.

75min: Buckley looking for a hat-trick but curls his effort from the edge of the box just wide.

More on goal: Almost a carbon-copy of his effort five minutes ago as he races through the Worcester defence but this time tucks it beyond Veiga and into the back of the net.

73min: GOAL: Worcester City 2-5 Colwyn Bay – Obi Anoruo

69min: SUB: Sousa comes on for Elvins for Worcester.

68min: WOODWORK: Anoruo bursts through a static City back line and rolls and effort against the post. Looked like he had already started celebrating that one.

More on goal: Baynes was adjudged to have brought down Smith in the box and the penalty was given. Nti stepped up and confidently rolled the ball past Sanna.

66min: GOAL: Worcester City 2-4 Colwyn Bay – Daniel Nti (P)

PENALTY WORCESTER

64min: Smith comes close to pulling one back but his 25-yard drive is tipped behind by Sanna.

61min: SUB: Weir comes off for Smith in Worcester’s first change.

61min: Hopley played in Anoruo and the forward was so close to making it five, but Veiga came out well and denied him at his feet.

Attendance: 610

59min: WOODWORK: Geddes whips a free-kick which Nti meets but can only direct his header against the bar.

More on goal: Unbelievable start to the second half from the visitors as the resulting corner is taken, and scored, by Buckley. The delivery flies straight in.

55min: GOAL: Worcester City 1-4 Colwyn Bay – Tom Buckley

55min: Bay inches away from a fourth as Ellison’s cross hits the head of Denny and seems to be looping over Veiga but the keeper tips it behind.

More on goal: Fabulous third from the visitors as Buckley takes a touch inside Weir, flicks it up and smashes a volley past Veiga. Great strike.

52min: GOAL: Worcester City 1-3 Colwyn Bay – Tom Buckley

49min: Geddes tries to bend a free-kick from distance but Sanna tips it behind. Rowe meets the corner but his header is straight at the keeper.

More on goal: Disaster in the City box as Baynes pumps a long ball into the Worcester box, it is allowed to box and as Rowe attempts to head it back to Veiga, it is too high for the keeper and loops over him into the back of the net.

47min: GOAL: Worcester City 1-2 Colwyn Bay – Jacob Rowe OG

– The two teams are back out and the second half is underway.

– Very entertaining first half of football here which kicked off in dramatic style as Anthony Charles saw red for a professional foul on Obi Anoruo after just seven minutes. The ten-men Worcester went on to take the lead though through Tristian Dunkley’s drilled effort before Mike Lea’s simple tap-in drew things level just five minutes later.

HALF TIME: WORCESTER CITY 1-1 COLWYN BAY

3 minutes added time.

43min: Anoruo – who was lucky not to go into the book moments earlier – comes close to putting Bay in front when his attempted lob hits the roof of the net.

39min: Bay looking dangerous as they bid to take the lead for the first time and Hopley pokes an effort which Veiga deals with well.

34min: Certainly no end-of-season feel to this game as both sides look to get themselves ahead.

32min: Great effort from Baynes as he drills a half-volley which Veiga does well to keep out.

30min: Worcester back on the attack as Nti tries to hook an effort goal-bound but Sanna is equal to it.

More on goal: Ellison drifted a free-kick to the back post which Veiga came and missed, Royle was at the back post to tap it across and Lea poked him into an empty net.

28min: GOAL: Worcester City 1-1 Colwyn Bay – Mike Lea

More on goal: Dunkley bursts through the midfield and no Bay challenge comes in so Dunkley drills a low shot which beats Sanna at his near post.

23min: GOAL: Worcester City 1-0 Colwyn Bay – Tristian Dunkley

21min: Noone with half a chance for the visitors but his half-volley is skied well over the top.

16min: City have bossed the possession in the last five minutes and Geddes goes close with an effort from 25-yards.

11min: Frantic opening ten minutes at Aggborough as Nti has already been a whisker away, Charles has seen red and Bay have been denied what looked a clear penalty.

10min: Bay have strong appeals for a penalty turned down Rowe seems to bring down Anoruo in the box but the referee waves away the protests.

8min: Ellison’s resulting free-kick is poor and hits the wall.

7min: RED CARD: Chalres receives a straight red card for Worcester for bringing down Anoruo when charging in on goal.

6min: Pocket of Colwyn Bay fans that have made the long trip in good voice at Aggborough.

5min: Haywood with a half-chance for the visitors but skies his effort from the edge of the box.

4min: Great effort from Nti early on as Haynes plays the ball into him in the box. Nti rolls Royle and fires narrowly over the angle.

1min: Colwyn Bay get us underway in their reversed strip of red tops and white shorts kicking from right to left. City in their traditional blue and white.

KICK OFF

– A minute’s silence will be held before kick off to mark the anniversary of the Bradford City fire.

– This season has certainly been one to remember for Worcester City, whether it be the historic 2-1 victory away at Coventry City, a record-breaking penalty shoot-out against Scunthorpe United, Sean Geddes’ world-renowned ‘rabona’ or even Shab Khans ‘body-slam’, the 2014/15 campaign has had it all and will be one City fans look back on with fond memories for years to come.

– Carl Heeley makes two changes from the side which narrowly lost out to Kidderminster Harriers 2-1 in the Worcestershire Senior Cup final on Tuesday. The cup-tied Kyle Haynes comes back into the squad in place of Shab Khan while Tristian Dunkley also replaces Mike Symons up top.

– Here are today’s teams:

Worcester City: Jose Veiga; Kyle Haynes, Anthony Charles, Jacob Rowe, Tyler Weir; Jay Denny, Ellis Deeney (C), Rob Elvins; Sean Geddes, Tristian Dunkley; Daniel Nti SUBS: Mike Symons, Shab Khan, Joao Sousa, Jamie Smith, Dean Waldron

Colwyn Bay: Chris Sanna; Wes Baynes, Mike Lea, Chris Noone, Jonathan Royale; Prince Haywood, Obi Andrew, Tom Buckley, Rob Hopley; Marc Williams (C), James Ellison SUBS: Gareth Rees, Ashley Seddon, Joss Bakker, Sion Noble

Referee: Andy Hendley

– Anything but three points for the visitors today will confirm relegation for Gus Williams’ men. Even a win may not be enough, however, as they need a slip up from either Brackley or Stalybridge to be in with a chance of survival.

– Welcome to Aggborough, the temporary home of the Blue and Whites, where Carl Heeley’s Worcester City will be looking to end a truly memorable campaign on a high note with a victory over the North Wales outfit, a result which would see Bay relegated from the Conference North.
