MORE than 2,000 tickets have been snapped up by Worcester City fans ahead of their FA Cup second round clash with Scunthorpe United.

The eagerly-anticipated tie will take place at Glanford Park on Sunday December 7 but City have already sold all of their 1,600 allocation plus the bulk of another 600 sent over by the League One club.

All tickets available from the Tourist Information Centre have now sold out with online a handful left online.

Tickets for the match are priced at £12 for adults, £6 for over 60s, £6 for students and 16-21 and £2 for under 16s and can be purchased at www.worcestercityfc.com/ online.

The club are working with the Iron with a view of getting more tickets for the game.

Coach tickets are, however, still available and as with the Coventry tie, they will once again leave from the Croft Road car park between 8.45am and 9am on the day. Anyone travelling with the club must buy a coach ticket in advance as there will be no pay on the day.

Travel is £20 for adults and £12 for under 16s.

The game is a 2pm kick-off.
