WARRIORS centre Alex Grove will bring the curtain down on his ten-year spell with the club at the end of the season.
The Solihull-born player, who was a product of Warriors’ academy, has made 152 appearances for the club, crossing the whitewash on 29 occasions.
During his time at Sixways, Grove has enjoyed two promotions to the Aviva Premiership, while also winning the British and Irish Cup in the 2014/15 campaign.
The 28-year-old also picked up three international caps for Scotland in 2009.
“It has been an honour and a privilege to represent this club and I’d like to thank John Brain, Mike Ruddock, Richard Hill and Dean Ryan for giving me every one of those opportunities to pull on the jersey,” Grove said.
“I’ve been fortunate to play alongside some top blokes and talented individuals and I’ve made some great friends.
“The development both on and off the field at Sixways shows the club’s desire and intent to become a top side and a huge amount of credit must go to Cecil Duckworth, Greg Allen and the board for their vision, generosity and commitment.
“Finally, I must thank our incredible fans for their support over the years. We’re lucky to have fans who stick with the club through the tough times and are there to celebrate the highs. I look forward to returning to Sixways to support the boys in the coming seasons.”
Director of rugby Dean Ryan said: “I’d like to thank Alex for his fantastic contribution to the club over the last decade. He has been a tremendous athlete with the utmost professionalism and we wish him all the best in the future.”
Hooker Ben Sowrey and centre Heath Stevens will also depart the club at the end of the campaign.
Sowrey, who has made 18 appearances for Warriors, will join Newcastle Falcons and Stevens, who spent the majority of this campaign on loan at Nottingham Rugby, will move to Championship side London Welsh.
