WARRIORS academy forwards development coach Ceri Jones is leaving the club to rejoin his hometown side Newport Gwent Dragons.
The former Wales international, who joined the Sixways outfit as a player in 2011, was added to the coaching set-up in 2013 and has helped nurture Warriors’ promising young forwards over the past couple of seasons.
He will now join-up with Newport to coach their forwards ahead of the 2016/17 Guinness PRO12 campaign.
“I’ve really enjoyed my time here at Sixways and I’ve made some great friends and unforgettable experiences,” Jones said.
“I’d like to thank everyone for their support over the past five years and wish the club the best of luck in the years to come.
“Warriors’ academy has a really bright future and there’s some exciting prospects coming through the ranks,” he added.
Director of Rugby Dean Ryan said: “I’d like to thank Ceri for his contribution in helping grow some of our younger players.
“He’s played an important part in what we’re trying to build here at Worcester and we’re very grateful for the support he has given us during his time at the club.”
