Boost for Worcester as trio sign on

Worcester Editorial 26th Jun, 2015 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

WORCESTER City have been handed a major boost ahead of the new season with the news that three of their star players have committed themselves to the club.

Left back Tyler Weir, forward Daniel Nti and goalkeeper Nathan Vaughan have all agreed deals which will see them line up in the Blue and White kit again at the start of August.

Weir had previously indicated his desire to stay at City but his ambitions to travel to Australia had raised question marks over his future. However, the defender has since returned to England and has wasted no time in committing himself to the cause.

Nti was also keen to remain at the Aggborough-based outfit and said he was looking forward to the prospect of linking up with new striker Ryan Rowe while Vaughan will be hoping for another season to remember after his cup exploits last term.

The trio were instrumental in Worcester’s memorable 2014/15 campaign and will look for more of the same in the coming months.
