Woman racially abused on the street

A WOMAN was racially abused as she walked through Lowesmoor.

The victim was with her young son when two women leaned out of a building window nearby, began shouting verbal abuse and threw a glass of water at her.

The incident happened next to Harrington Court last Thursday (August 21) about 1.40pm.

Investigating officer, PC Matt Digger, said: “This is a hate crime which is being taken very seriously.




“I am eager to hear from anyone who witnessed this racially aggravated assault – please get in touch to help tackle this unacceptable crime.”
