Are you the winner of unclaimed lottery ticket?

Worcester Editorial 6th Mar, 2015 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

TIME is running out for a lucky lottery winner who just over a week left to claim more than £50,000.

The winning ticket was bought in the Wychavon District of Worcestershire and matched five numbers and the bonus ball on the September 17 draw last year.

The winning numbers were nine, 19, 22, 34, 41 and 46 and the bonus ball was six, the players are being urged to double-check their tickets. The owner of the winning ticket has until Monday (March 16) to make the claim for the £51,678 prize.

If no one comes forward with the winning ticket before midnight on that date, the money will go to help National Lottery-funded projects in the UK.

In the Wychavon District there have been 751 individual National Lottery grants awarded to help the arts, sports, heritage, education, environment, charity and voluntary sectors.

Players raise more than £33million for these projects every week.

A National Lottery spokesman said: “Time really is running out for the winner of this prize, but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the very last minute to claim the money.

“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets one final time or look anywhere a missing Lotto ticket could be hiding. This life-enhancing prize could really help to make dreams become a reality for someone out there.”

All players have 180 days to make their claim which can be made by calling the National Lottery line on 0845 910 0000 or contacting [email protected]. For further information visit the website visit www.national-lottery.co.uk.
