QUILTS made with love and care are set to become the holders of treasured memories for families of St Richard’s Hospice patients.
Members of the Project Linus UK volunteer group recently donated a large bundle of the handmade quilts to the city hospice’s family support team.
Alison Cooper, from St Richard’s, said: “We give these beautiful quilts to patients and their families and they snuggle up in them so the quilt becomes part of the life of the loved one, capturing special memories.
“Then when the loved one dies, those who are left behind can cherish the quilts and they give great comfort.
“We are very grateful to the Worcestershire Project Linus group for continuing to support St Richard’s patients and families in this very special way.”
