A FAMILY owned travel agency has raised nearly £10,000 for a cancer charity.

The ArrangeMy Group, in Berkeley Business Park, on Wainwright Road, raised £9,875 for Macmillan Cancer Research through a year of fund-raising activities.

They presented their impressive cheque to Macmillan’s Kelly Whitehouse on Tuesday (June 30).

The team hosted coffee mornings, cake sales, raffles and a pig roast as well as taking part in collections at Worcester supermarkets.

Simon Scott, chief executive at ArrangeMy Group, said: “I’m delighted that we were able to present this cheque today.

“We’ve hosted a number of fund-raising activities over the last year and everyone here has been so enthusiastic about raising money for such a worthy cause.

“We decided to fund-raise for Macmillan during the last year as we asked staff to nominate the charity of their choice and then take a vote on it.

“Macmillan was the clear winner and since then everybody has been keen to help as much as they can.”
