Worcester Editorial 17th Dec, 2014 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

POLICE are hunting for a man who exposed himself to a dog walker in a city park.

The victim was walking her dog along the brook in Gheluvelt Park on Friday, November 21, about 3pm when the incident took place.

There was also another elderly woman walking towards the bridge at the same time who the flasher shouted a warning at and then ran off towards the park exit.

Neither woman was touched or injured during the incident.

The man is described as Asian, 5ft 6ins tall, of a slight build, clean shaven and with dark skin. Police believe he is in his late 20s or early 30s, was wearing a black leather look jacket, dark jeans and a knitted black beanie hat.

Constable Amanda Gregg, who is leading the investigation, said: “This is of particular concern given the time and place of the incident.

“We are working hard to ensure the offender is brought to justice and we urge anyone who may have been in the park at the time of the incident or may have seen someone matching the description to get in touch.”

Anyone with information is urged to call the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
