POLICE have launched a manhunt after a lorry driver asked to take photographs of a nine-year-old girl in a village near Worcester.
Officers want to trace the man after he got out of his vehicle in Upton Snodsbury and approached the young girl on Thursday, July 31, about 3pm.
A witness drove past the incident in Cutts Pool on Pershore Lane and shouted at the driver which caused him to back away.
He then drove in the direction of Pershore in a blue and white flat-bed style lorry.
The man is described as white, slim build, about 6ft, between 19 and 25 years old, bald with dark eyebrows, pale green eyes, a goatee beard which has three vertical lines beneath the mouth and tattoos on both arms.
The tattoos are thought to be of various names on one arm and teddy bears on the other.
The girl was not injured or touched in the incident but was left extremely distressed.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to the person who drove past at the time of the incident.
