A TREASURE hunt for the city’s businesses saw more that 180 people cracking codes and solving clues around the much loved landmarks.

EML Events, an event planning company, partnered with the chamber of commerce, organised the day which they called Chamber of Secrets on Thursday (May 14).

Each group was given a tote bag with their treasure hunt questions, codes and a bag of sweets to keep everyone going.

The teams made their way through Worcester for more than three hours and found clues that lead hem through the Hive,

Tourist Information and Worcester Cathedral, to find the Black Pear Diamond.

They ended their journey at the Guildhall where they discovered the thief in the story, James Redfearn, who had been posing as a handy man there.

Michelle Pogmore works for EML Events and took pat in the hunt. She said: “It was a fantastic turnout on Thursday, It was a really successful day and a great collaboration between the Chamber of Commerce and EML Events.

“The event carried on at Edwards Bar and Kitchen where the teams came together and provided a great opportunity for networking.”
