VISITORS have been celebrating Christmas traditions old and new by flocking to an historic mansion house near Worcester.
A wealth of celebrations brought families together to enjoy the festive season at Croome Court on Saturday and Sunday (December 13 and 14).
Malvern based choir, The Hills Singers, entertained during the annual carol concert with an uplifting performance on Saturday evening.
Families joined in with rousing performances of firm favourites such as Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer followed by a warming drink and mince pie in the 1940s style canteen.
The festive Christmas market was brimming with local crafts and produce from more than 20 stall holders which visitors enjoyed browsing whilst listening to festive music from the Shepherd’s Choir in the background.
Families also enjoyed the outdoor wintry parkland trail with children having heaps of fun trying to spot the missing reindeers hidden in the parkland.
Afterwards, children visited Father Christmas, in his cosy grotto in the basement of the court where they could also write a letter to him which was posted in a special post box to the North Pole.
