Quartet add to festive stories

Worcester Editorial 9th Dec, 2014 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

AN ENCHANTING world of fairy tales and magical stories will be brought to life by Huntingdon Hall’s resident string quartet later this month, just in time for Christmas.

This treat for the whole family includes two of the best known festive stories – The Snowman and The Nutcracker.

Both capture the wonder and innocence of childhood with The Snowman going on a magical adventure to the North Pole to meet Santa Claus and The Nutcracker and his fellow toys coming alive at the stroke of midnight to dance, play and make mischief.

The hour long show, featuring the Astaria String Quartet and narrator Ben Humphrey, is perfect for all the family and with musical favourites such as Walking in the Air, Dance of the Snowman, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and Waltz of the Flowers you’re sure to want to join in the exciting adventures.

The show takes place on Sunday, December 21 at 3pm. Tickets cost £9.50 for adults, £5 for children or a family ticket (two adults and two children is £25).

To book call the box office on 01905 611427.
