A POPULAR city musical theatre group has proved to be a real family affair as they welcomed two new additions to their ‘family’.
Ellie Bugg and Lucy Dudley, two of the eight-strong Worcester Musical Theatre Company production team behind ‘All You Need is Love’ which was staged at the Swan Theatre in early October, juggled rehearsals with becoming new mothers.
The arrival of Henry Bugg and Edward Dudley has enriched the group’s family ethos with Edward’s father, grandfather, two uncles and auntie also members of the company.
Ellie said: “It is very rewarding for us all, and especially as we got closer to the show as we were able to bring along the children to rehearsals on Sunday afternoons. It’s a real family affair.”
This year’s production featured a mixture of music including The Beatles and James Bond, as well as dance, comedy, the Harlequin Stage School and children from Claines and Wilden CE primary schools.
